Reaching Selcuk (pronounced Seldjouk)
1) By Bus. There may be bus companies that have regular services to Selcuk from the town where you are. Otherwise you may first come to Izmir and from Izmir you may take one of the buses to Selcuk. There is one such bus every 40 minutes and they leave from Izmir's main bus station. The firs one is at 7:20. The last one is at 21:30. 2) By Plane. You are supposed to arrive at Izmir airport first. a) The buses that come from the town of Gaziemir to the destination of Selcuk stop near the airport. To take one of these buses you should go to Tansaş (pronounced Tansash) by taxi. It takes only 5 minutes. There is one bus every 35 minutes from 6:55 am till 8:40 am. Then there is one bus every 20 minutes from 8:40 am till 20:00. After 20:00 there is a supplementary bus at 21:45. The Gaziemir-Selcuk bus fare is 8 TL. b) You can also take the train from the airport. 3) By Train. You may have train services from the town where you are to Selcuk. Check http://www.tcdd.gov.tr/yolcu/anahattrenleri.htm The phone number of the Selcuk train station is 0232 892 60 06.
4) By private Car. After arriving Izmir, take the direction of Aydin, the neighboring city at the South of Izmir. After about 50 km you will arrive at the Torbali exit where there is a ticket window. About 20 km after the ticket window you will arrive at Selcuk ticket window. Follow the signs for Selcuk. At Selcuk turn left at the first traffic lights; after around 200 meters you will reach the road to Sirince. You will see the sign of Sirince.
Reaching Sirince (pronounced Shirindjé). There are minibuses from Selcuk to Sirince. The first one is at 7:30 am. The second one is at 8:00 am. There is one minibus every 20 minutes from 8:00 am till 10:00 am. Then there is one minibus every 30 minutes from 10:00 am till 20:00. The Selcuk-Sirince minibus fare is 2,5 TL. You can take a taxi from Selcuk to Sirince. It costs about 40 TL.
